Heart of Winter Wines
Share
Hey Wine Lovers,
As they say in the farming circles, the "cold units" are setting in. Cold days and cold nights are cold units of time, and are what viticulturists yearn for, so that the vines to go into full dormancy and rest properly so that they can burst forth into fruitful life, come spring. It takes a surprisingly long unbroken run of these cold units for the vines to go into full dormancy -- weeks of them -- so when we have winters with bursts of warmer weather it's only good for us sun-loving humans, less good for quality wine.
So let's hunker down and enjoy the cold, it's good for our wine futures!
Here's a case of wines that I have been enjoying over these days, five reds and one warming white. Of course, we're ready to help you find any other wine you are looking for, please be in touch.
